My dating life is non existent, so I humbly entrusted Channel 5’s Blind Date to help me find the perfect prince to perfectly match my princess attire.
The new Blind Date series hosted by Paul O’Grady is the millennial remake of the late Cilla Black’s show, which ran from the 1985 through to 2003.
I’ve always believed in fairytales and have watched blind date nearly every Saturday as a child since 1989 and have always secretly envisioned myself on the show. So, of course I had to make my childhood dreams come true and put on my best princess dress when I was casted for the show.
I duly had my trusted make up artist at Westfield Stratford ‘beat my face to the Gods’ and had the whole wardrobe team stitch and stick my bosoms into the laced deep V neckline opening of my gown.
Pitted amongst two other beauties, we battled our way through the three questions posed by the manly voice that bellowed beyond the screen which separated us from our soon to be mystery date.
Low and behold, I wasn’t chosen to be the princess of the ball for this potential prince and I returned home in my carriage long before midnight.
