Audrey Alexandra is a British presenter, actress, journalist, and former Qatar fashion and beauty editor. She’s known to many in the industry as a multifaceted individual, with a vibrant personality and an array of talents.

Audrey has appeared in the UK feature film, It’s A Lot (2013), has featured on ITV’s Celebrity Squares (2014) and most recently in Channel 4’s, The Question Jury (2016). Audrey has also worked on various pilot shows filming with the Made In Chelsea film crew and NBC Universal. She has modelled for the renowned American hair brand Cantu at the Afro Hair & Beauty Show (2015), and also made it to the final Executives Interview stage of Channel 5’s Big Brother (2015). She is also professionally trained in the arts and has honed her talents at London’s infamous, Sylvia Young Theatre School and also with Identity School of Acting (home to Star Trek’s John Boyega), under the management of Femi Oguns MBE.

Born in Kingston, Jamaica Audrey was surrounded by the richness of the culture, growing up amongst the picturesque waterfalls and mountainous valleys of the island, her childhood life was indeed an adventurous one. Her Grandfather was a leading figure in the Caribbean and her father’s sisters, her aunts, were the epitome of ‘Posh’ – as they would stride the sidewalks in the basking sunshine, umbrellas atop their heads – draped in heels, even to the corner store. Thus, her love for fashion was imprinted in her DNA, as she too is rarely without her five inch stilettos. The food, the fashion, and the music was cemented in her being forever. She left the Caribbean aged six bound for the ‘promise land’, England.

Audrey first performed at The Royal Albert Hall aged 9 in a choir, in presence of a full auditorium of Royal guests, celebrities and politicians such as Neil Kinnock. She later went on to join Unique Dance Crew at age 14 and began her career as a dancer – touring England and performing as a support act for celebrities such as Richard Blackwood in renowned establishments, including Stratford Theatre Royal, Stratford Town Hall, and Mills Island Studios.

Audrey studied Journalism at the former London School of Printing (University of The Arts London) and immediately made her impact on the music journalism scene with her first ‘Big Story’, about an A list celebrity. At just 22 years old, during the first year of her degree course, she stumbled upon a story and approached both UK and American tabloid press. She was offered a five figure sum for the story but declined the offers and the story has never been published. Later that year, Audrey was successfully shortlisted for fashion bible, Vogue magazine’s, Vogue Talent Contest for Young Writers.

Audrey later joined BBC Worldwide, as a features writer on Top of The Pops and It’s Hot! magazines and also coordinated deliveries for royal clients and various high class celebrities at the worlds largest online fashion store, net-a-porter.com.

As a music, fashion and entertainment editor, Audrey has interviewed a vast array of celebrities from Trey Songz, Toni Braxton, Shontelle, Fat Joe, Errol Douglas and The Fugees to name a few. She has also worked on London’s Choice FM radio station, and the UK’s Lime magazine.

Audrey also has over ten years experience in fashion PR, working with a variety of London’s finest fashion designers such as  Hannah Marshall, Erdem, Peter Pilotto, Meadham Kirchhoff, Christopher Raeburn, Holly Fulton and Mary Katrantzou. Audrey has worked alongside the cutting edge of London’s new generation of designers and others over the years, including attending London Fashion Week and various catwalk shows, working in renowned establishments such as Independent Talent London (formally ICM Models), the London College of Fashion, London Denim, Issey Miyake and The Centre for Fashion Enterprise – Audrey has her finger firmly placed on the proverbial fashion pulse and if you don’t already know about theses designers you soon will!

With Audrey’s keen eye for all things musically fabulous, on trend and fashionable, she began blogging in 2011 – attempting to juggle her other career endeavours alongside running a blog full time proved challenging. But now, Audrey has taken the ‘fashion bull by the horns’ again and relaunched her blog, Audrey Alexandra, which will showcase inspiring features, fashion, beauty and lifestyle tips to keep you slaying on your way to success and looking fashionably fabulous, without leaving your purse unfashionably empty!
